Submit your session ideas for the EGU General Assembly in 2025! 1 July 2024 The call for session proposals for the EGU25 General Assembly is now open! Until 9 September you can suggest new scientific sessions with co-conveners, submit short course ideas and/or submit proposals for Union Symposia and Great Debates. Session proposal options exist for both virtual and on-site participation in the EGU General Assembly, which is taking place 27 April–2 May 2025. Read more

Apply for a mentoring position with ESA’s Climate Office 17 May 2024 The European Space Agency Climate Office is offering places for three PhD candidates to join a year long mentoring scheme, supported by EGU. Apply now for EGU’s Science Journalism Fellowship 2024 (up to €5k) Press release 6 May 2024 The European Geosciences Union (EGU) has begun accepting applications for the 13th edition of its Science Journalism Fellowship competition. The fellowships enable journalists to report, in any European language, on ongoing research in the Earth, planetary or space sciences, with successful applicants receiving up to €5000 to cover expenses related to their projects.
