How to write a research paper
You have worked hard to get your results, analyse the data, and draw conclusions from your research topic. Now it is time to write up! While scientific writing can seem daunting to early career scientists, publishing your results is a fundamental part of the research process and essential for communicating your findings to the scientific community.
In this webinar our guest speaker, Ken Carslaw, co-Chief Executive Editor of the EGU journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, will outline the main elements of a research article and provide guidance on how to write clear, concise and logical articles. The webinar will also include recommendations for well-structured titles, abstracts, introductions, results and conclusions. It will also touch on the overall process of constructing an article from scratch.
The webinar will last for one hour and conclude with an audience Q&A. This webinar will be recorded and uploaded to the EGU YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@egu
