Annales Geophysicae (ANGEO)
- IF 1.7
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Annales Geophysicae (ANGEO) is an international, multi- and inter-disciplinary scientific open-access journal in the field of solar–terrestrial and planetary sciences. ANGEO publishes original articles and short communications (letters) on research of the Sun–Earth system, including the science of space weather, solar–terrestrial plasma physics, the Earth’s ionosphere and atmosphere, the magnetosphere, and the study of planets and planetary systems, the interaction between the different spheres of a planet, and the interaction across the planetary system. Topics range from space weathering, planetary magnetic field, and planetary interior and surface dynamics to the formation and evolution of planetary systems.
Earth Surface Dynamics (ESurf)
- IF 2.8
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Earth Surface Dynamics (ESurf) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of high-quality research on the physical, chemical, and biological processes shaping Earth’s surface and their interactions on all scales. The main subject areas of ESurf comprise field measurements, remote sensing, and experimental and numerical modelling of Earth surface processes, and their interactions with the lithosphere, biosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and pedosphere.
Earth System Dynamics (ESD)
- IF 7.9
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Earth System Dynamics (ESD) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of studies that take an interdisciplinary perspective of the functioning of the whole Earth system and global change. The overall behaviour of the Earth system is strongly shaped by the interactions among its various component systems, such as the atmosphere, cryosphere, hydrosphere, oceans, pedosphere, lithosphere, and the inner Earth, but also by life and human activity.
Geochronology (GChron)
- IF 2.7
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Geochronology (GChron) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the discussion and publication of high-quality research on the physical, chemical, and biological processes used to quantify time in all environmental and geological settings throughout Earth’s history.
Geoscience Communication (GC)
- IF 0.7
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Geoscience Communication (GC) is a journal to help share knowledge and give more “traditional” recognition to science communication in the geosciences. Science communication is used as an umbrella term by GC to cover all aspects of outreach, public engagement, widening participation, knowledge exchange, and any other initiatives within the scope of the journal. It can be thought of as any initiative which seeks to communicate an aspect of geoscience to a wider audience than the experts within that particular field.
Geoscientific Instrumentation, Methods and Data Systems (GI)
- IF 1.8
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Geoscientific Instrumentation, Methods and Data Systems (GI) is an open-access interdisciplinary electronic journal for swift publication of original articles and short communications in the area of geoscientific instruments. It covers three main areas: atmospheric and geospace sciences, Earth science, and ocean science. A unique feature of the journal is the emphasis on synergy between science and technology that facilitates advances in GI.
Geoscientific Model Development (GMD)
- IF 4.0
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Geoscientific Model Development (GMD) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of the description, development, and evaluation of numerical models of the Earth system and its components.
Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences (NHESS)
- IF 4.2
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences (NHESS) is an interdisciplinary and international journal dedicated to the public discussion and open-access publication of high-quality studies and original research on natural hazards and their consequences. Embracing a holistic Earth system science approach, NHESS serves a wide and diverse community of research scientists, practitioners, and decision makers concerned with detection of natural hazards, monitoring and modelling, vulnerability and risk assessment, and the design and implementation of mitigation and adaptation strategies, including economical, societal, and educational aspects.
Nonlinear Processes in Geophysics (NPG)
- IF 1.7
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Nonlinear Processes in Geophysics (NPG) is an international, interdisciplinary journal for the publication of original research furthering knowledge on nonlinear processes in all branches of Earth, planetary, and solar system sciences. The editors encourage submissions that apply nonlinear analysis methods to both models and data.
Solid Earth (SE)
- IF 3.2
- Homepage
- Editorial board
Solid Earth (SE) publishes multidisciplinary research on the composition, structure, dynamics of the Earth from the surface to the deep interior at all spatial and temporal scales.
