Advances in Geosciences (ADGEO)
Advances in Geosciences (ADGEO) is an international, interdisciplinary journal for fast publication of collections of short but self-contained communications in the Earth, planetary, and solar system sciences, published in separate volumes online with the option of printed publications (print on demand). The collections may include papers presented at scientific meetings (proceedings) or articles on a well-defined topic compiled by individual editors or organizations (special publications).
Compilations
Encyclopedia of Geosciences (EG)
The Encyclopedia of Geosciences is a collection of peer-reviewed scientific review articles on topics relevant to the geosciences, published in the open-access journals of the European Geosciences Union (EGU), written by the experts of the field. It shall fill the gap between traditional review articles on the one hand and online encyclopediae on the other. The subject area of the Encyclopedia of Geosciences is the entire field of geosciences including research on the atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, solid earth, and biosphere (for details, see the list of topics). The articles shall address readers with academic but not necessarily specialist background in science.
Geophysical Research Abstracts (GRA)
Geophysical Research Abstracts (GRA) is the conference series publishing the abstracts accepted for the General Assemblies of the European Geosciences Union (EGU). It links the annual conference programmes listing programme groups, included sessions, and their contributions. The abstracts underwent an access review by the session conveners.
Other publications
eEarth (eE)
eEarth was an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of short, topical papers in the Earth Sciences. eEarth stopped its business in summer 2009 (libraries will stay online). The successor is the journal Solid Earth.

Title: Linear Theory of Hydrologic Systems
Author: J. C. I. Dooge
The aim of the EGU Reprint Series is to make important, classical work in the Earth, planetary and solar system sciences that is currently not available for purchase anymore accessible to the EGU members and, in particular, to the younger and more recently established colleagues at a high quality reprint level but, at the same time, at low concession rates.
EGU Reprint Series 2
EGU Reprint Series 2, 2003
Title: Dynamic Hydrology
Author: P. S. Eagleson
Stephan Mueller Special Publication Series (SMSPS)
Stephan Mueller Special Publication Series (SMSPS) was an international interdisciplinary series for the fast publication of collections of short but self-contained communications in the Earth, planetary, and solar system sciences, published in separate volumes online with the option of a publication on paper (print-on-demand). The collections were published in 2003 and 2009 and further volumes are not planned.
A voyage through scales – the photo book
- Download (PDF document, 13.0 MB)
As in 2014, a high-quality photo book has been compiled and presented at the EGU General Assembly. Through the lens of our journals, scientists wrote about scaling in their disciplines and visualised their work through beautiful photos. The book has been published by EGU and Edition Lammerhuber and was handed-out to the participants upon registration.

Tectonics
Tectonics contains original scientific contributions in analytical, synthetic, and integrative tectonics. Papers are restricted to the structure and evolution of the terrestrial lithosphere with dominant emphasis on the continents. A publication of the American Geophysical Union with editorial collaboration from EGU.
