Damla Posta is from Istanbul, Turkey and she is currently pursuing an MSc degree in Environmental Governance at the University of Freiburg. She obtained a double major BA degree in Sociology and Economics from Bogazici University in Istanbul in 2021, and an MA degree in Social Anthropology from Central European University in Vienna in 2023. She has worked in the consultancy sector for the Poland office of Ecorys.
Damla joined EGU as a Science Policy Assistant in December 2024. In this position, she is supporting the Policy Manager with coordinating the activities of EGU’s Policy Programme. She creates and disseminates content relating to Programme, and contributes to the Programme’s efforts in bringing EGU members and policymakers together.
