Job description

Aarhus University is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in climate modelling to contribute to understanding Arctic–midlatitude connections and the role of large-scale atmospheric dynamics in a changing climate. The position is part of the ArcticPush project, a collaboration between Aarhus University, DMI, and the University of Copenhagen.

The postdoc will work with global climate models and ensemble simulations to explore how Arctic climate change influences midlatitude weather and variability. This includes designing and analyzing experiments to investigate teleconnections, dynamical coupling, and feedback processes in the Earth system.

We are looking for a motivated candidate with a background in climate modelling, atmospheric dynamics, or a related field. The position offers opportunities to contribute to international research collaborations and scientific publications within a dynamic and experienced climate modelling team.
