FluxBEATS doctoral network

FluxBEATS doctoral network have 10 PhD positions at 7 different institutions in Finland, Norway, Germany, France and Italy, and for each position, the applicant is hired at a specific host institution. The 10 doctoral candidate positions part of the new Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action – Doctoral Networt FluxBEATS dedicated to global elemental fluxes that control biogeochemical cycles and ore formation at divergent plate boundaries are open for applications. Positions are in Finland, Germany, France, Norway and Italy.

The FluxBEATS doctoral network (https://www.fluxbeats.eu/) integrates geological observations, cutting-edge geochemical and biogeochemical analyses, data and modeling from modern volcanic systems along mid-ocean ridges and back-arc spreading centers with Cretaceous ophiolites and Precambrian magmatic suites and associated hydrothermal systems.

Each position is applied for through the host institution. Therefore, the host institution’s requirements apply. The application templates on the FluxBEATS website must be carefully filled out and attached to the application.

The applicants selected for the projects are expected to start on 1st of May, 2025.
