In the framework of the research project “Evaluating the feasibility of an LST-based ET product using multitemporal MSG observations” (EUMETSAT CUP D47G24000430005) in collaboration with EUMETSAT LSA SAF, the project will implement and test a dual-temperature-difference surface energy balance model using MSG satellite data over Europe and west Africa with the goal to simulate daily actual evapotranspiration.
The objective of the study is to evaluate the feasibility of an operational product based on this modelling approach
