Possible approaches include field, laboratory, computational, and theoretical studies. We seek to attract an individual who will establish an innovative research program and teach both undergraduate and graduate students.

A doctorate or terminal degree in a field of science related to Earth’s surface processes is required by the expected start date of July 1, 2025.

We also seek candidates who have a strong commitment to teaching. The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences celebrates the multiple dimensions of diversity that each member of our community offers, including diversity of background, perspective, and lived experience. We strongly welcome applications from persons from underrepresented groups.

Please submit applications online at: https://academicpositions.harvard.edu/postings/14208
