The EGU – European Geosciences Union e.V., is a non-profit association registered at the county court of Munich (VR 206278). Its headquarter is located in the Kastenbauerstr. 2, 81677 Munich, Germany.
Overall management and control of the Union rest in the hands of the elected Council, consisting of the Union president, the vice-president, the general secretary, the treasurer, and the presidents of each division.
The EGU Executive office, under the direction of an executive secretary, are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Union, under the general guidance of the Council.
