Michael Aich is a PhD candidate in at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. His research is in the application of deep Learning methods to quantify the effects of extreme weather events on vegetation. Currently, he is working on Diffusion model based bias correction and downscaling methods for Earth System Models.
