Lars Tierolf is a PhD student in the Water and Climate Risk department of the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research is part of the COASTMOVE project and focuses on modelling the migration and adaptation behavior of people affected by long-term sea level rise. He is currently working on an agent-based model that captures migration and adaptation decisions under increasing coastal flood risk.
