Benedikt Schulz is a PhD Student at the Institute for Stochastics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and funded by the Transregional Collaborative Research Center “Waves to Weather” (W2W; SFB/TRR165). Within project C5 of W2W (“Dynamical feature-based ensemble postprocessing of wind gusts within European winter storms”), he is supervised by Dr. Sebastian Lerch (Institute of Economics, KIT) and Prof. Dr. Peter Knippertz (Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research, KIT).
