Tom Dror is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences of the Weizmann institute of science in Israel. Her main research interests are cloud physics, remote sensing, and nonlinear dynamics and pattern formation. The virtual poster presented at the EGU General Assembly 2021 introduces a new perspective regarding the organization of shallow cloud fields in space and time, combining high-resolution data and a classic Empirical orthogonal functions (EOF) decomposition.
