Parminder Kaur is a Ph.D. student (Junior Research Fellow-CSIR) working under the supervision of Dr. Gurmeet Kaur, at the Department of Geology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. Her main research interests includes the mineralogical and geochemical studies of Lamproites of Raniganj and Jharia coalfields of Damodar Valley, Eastern India. She is currently working on Heritage stones of India. The work presented in EGU 2019 is to promote the Yellow Jaisalmer Limestone from Rajasthan, Western India, as a Global Heritage Stone Resource.
