Ruilong Guo is a postdoc researcher in Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He studies the dynamics in the magnetosphere of giant planets. Using the measurements from the Cassini spacecraft, he presented the observations of flux rope-like structures at pre-noon sector of Saturnian magnetosphere, and built a model to illustrate the three-dimensional structure of the flux rope, which would bring new sight of understanding the magnetospheric dynamics in fast rotating planets.
