Florian Albrecht, MSc., is researcher and project manager at the Department for Geoinformatics – Z_GIS, University of Salzburg. He is involved in national and EU-funded research projects on natural hazards, urban planning and aviation. Florian is specialized in remote sensing and 3D geo-spatial analysis processing chains with a particular interest in visibility analysis. His current research focuses on collecting and analysing user requirements, developing Earth Observation derived geographic information products, as well as designing appropriate validation procedures.
