Madeleine is a third year PhD student at the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Plymouth University (UK). Her PhD research focuses on the Early Cretaceous sedimentary succession of Svalbard, and in particular on the expression of climate change during this period of time. The poster presented at EGU 2016 displays her work undertaken at the Festningen section, and demonstrates how improved carbon-isotope stratigraphy contextualises possible climate proxies present in the succession.
