Michèlle van der Does is a PhD student at the department of Marine Geology and Chemical Oceanography at the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ). Her research focuses on spatial and seasonal changes of Saharan dust over the Atlantic Ocean. For this she uses submarine moored sediment-trap samples along a transect at 12˚N in the Atlantic Ocean. The EGU 2015 poster presented dust particle-size distributions of the first year of sampling (2012-2013) from seven sediment traps.
