Christoph Bamann studied aerospace engineering at the Technische Universität München (TUM), Germany, and the Imperial College London, United Kingdom. In his studies he focussed on dynamical systems theory and guidance, navigation, and control of air and spacecraft. Currently, he is a research assistant and PhD student at TUM, where his work is mainly concerned with space-based time transfer and orbit determination of space debris on the basis of laser ranging data.
