Adam Moreno is a PhD. student in the Institute of Silviculture at the Natural Resources and Life Sciences University, Vienna in Vienna, Austria. His research interests are the integration of ecological modeling, remote sensing and in-situ data to study ecosystems across scales. He is currently working on improving pan-European gridded climate data, developing a European specific MODIS NPP dataset and deriving spatially explicit gridded datasets of European forest characteristics. This work is part of the EU project “FORest management strategies to enhance the MITigation potential of European forests” (FORMIT).
