Magdalena Rogger works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management of the Vienna University of Technology. The poster “ Step changes in the flood frequency curve – Quantifying effects of catchments storage thresholds” is part of her PhD thesis which she completed in March 2013 under the supervision of Günter Blöschl within the “Vienna Doctoral Programme on Water Resource Systems”. In her PhD Magdalena was focusing on extreme flood estimation and runoff processes in alpine catchments. She is currently working on the impact of land use changes on flood generation within the ERC project “Deciphering River Flood Change”.
