Adria Rovira-Garcia is a PhD candidate within the research group of Astronomy and Geomatics (gAGE) of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). His research interests are focused in enhanced algorithms of the real-time Fast Precise Point Positioning (Fast-PPP) technique, which provides quick high-accuracy navigation with ambiguity fixing capability, thanks to an accurate modelling of the ionosphere. The poster awarded at the EGU2014 presented an end to end performance assessment of the Fast-PPP technique simultaneously in European mid-latitudes and in the challenging equatorial region of South East Asia (SEA), near the solar cycle maximum. Accuracy of Central Processing Facility (CPF) geodesy corrections (precise satellite orbits and clocks) is shown, and different ionospheric models are compared with the Fast-PPP dual-layer ambiguity-fixed strategy. Finally, the navigation of a world-wide distribution of rovers is assessed, where the convergence time of dual-frequency users is reduced and the accuracy single-frequency mass-market receivers is enhanced.
