Stefan Gary is a PhD student at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. His research is focused on identifying the mechanisms driving the export pathways of deep limb of the Atlantic Meridonal Overturning Circulation as well as quantifying the relative strengths of these pathways. He is also interested in basin-wide measurement of the AMOC and techniques for the analysis of Lagrangian data.
