Fatima El Atrassi is a PhD student at Laboratory of Geology, Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris. She is working on “The pyroxenites from the Beni Bousera peridotite massif: Thermobarometry, partial melting, metasomatim and preservation of microdiamonds”.
Her research characterizes and analyzes different mineralogical phases in the pyroxenites from the Beni Bousera massif, which are used in themobarometry calculation, and studies the various petrologic processes that affected these rocks. This research leads to construct a petrologic and geochemical evolution model of the Beni Bousera massif, which could be applied to others orogenic massifs.
