Awnesh is a PhD student at the Laboratoire d’Etudes en Géophysique et Océanographie (LEGOS) in Toulouse, France. His work involves comparing the signatures of different El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) episodes and to discriminate the impact of (natural and anthropogenic) low frequency modulation. His EGU poster focuses on using sea surface salinity (SSS) to discriminate between ENSO events and the relative contribution of the different flavors of ENSO on natural and an thropogenic SSS trends in the tropical Pacific region.
