Atitkagna Dok is a PhD student of Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University. She also belongs to the laboratory of landslide dynamics, Research Center on Landslides, Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University. She is supervised by Associate Professor Hiroshi Fukuoka. Her current research focuses on development of a near-real-time early warning system on rainfall–induced landslides in tropical soils of Southeast Asian countries. The poster in the EGU 2011 presents a part of her research work, study of Tertiary creep mechanism by ring shear apparatus in predicting initiation time of rainfall–induced landslides.
