Yury Yasyukevich received his Ph.D. degree in radio physics from the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics (Irkutsk, Russia) in 2009. He works in the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics SB RAS as a research scientist and in the Irkutsk State University as an assistant professor. His scientific interests include GPS-detection of ionosphere disturbances; Investigations of phase, polarization and spectral distortions of transionospheric radio signal as deduced from GPS sounding and numerical modeling; Testing of numerical ionosphere models using data of GPS and satellite altimeters.
