Florian is currently in the final stages of his PhD studies at the Western Australian Geothermal Centre of Excellence (WAGCoE), the University of Western Australia (Perth). His main interest is the study of fluid and heat flow in geothermal systems with a main focus on data assimilation and sensitivity studies. Current work includes the combination of geological modelling and flow simulation, visualization of flow sensitivities in complex systems and the development of novel methods for geothermal resource estimation (poster presentation at EGU GA 2010).
