Jaroslav Urbar is a PhD student at the Charles University in Prague, focusing on the solar wind-magnetosphere interaction. He has designed and lead the student experiment on stratospheric balloon project gathering the Cosmic Ray Induced Ionization atmospheric measurements by image pattern recognition from the Medipix family of radiation imaging detectors as part of his Master thesis at LTU in Kiruna.
