Join us on the first Monday of every month to discuss how researchers can more effectively engage with policymaking, get the scoop on upcoming science for policy opportunities, and virtually mingle in a relaxed, informal environment. You’ll be met with people working at the science-policy interface as well as others who may be interested in doing so!

This month, we will be hosting Monika Bauer, the Liaison and Partnership Officer at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). Monika builds partnerships within the IIASA network, which includes staff, alumni, and National and Regional Member Organization communities. She acts as a knowledge broker and liaison between IIASA and these stakeholders.

During the Hangout, Monika will introduce IIASA and her role, followed by an interactive discussion on how researchers access and activate international networks, exploring both the benefits and challenges.
