HIGHLIGHTS
The call for abstracts for the EGU 2017 General Assembly (Vienna, 23–28 April) opened last week. Until 11 January at 13:00 CET, you are welcome to submit your abstract for the chance to present and discuss your research at the largest European geoscience conference. To apply for financial support, please make sure to submit your abstract before 1 December.
This month, we are also advertising a job at the EGU Executive Office in Munich, Germany. Apply to be our new Science Policy Officer by 15 November, if you would like to help the EGU build bridges between geoscientists and European policymakers.
Finally, stay tuned to the EGU 2016 Autumn elections for treasurer and division presidents happening next month. Active EGU members will receive a voting link by email.
