URBAN GEOLOGY TOUR

Join the Urban Geology Tour of Vienna on the 1st of May. Geoscientists Bernhard Salcher (University of Salzburg) and Stephanie Neuhuber (BOKU ) will guide us through Vienna and its surroundings, including a visit to the National Park Alte-Donau, Danube power plant, and the cemetery of Vienna. Our guide will bring us on a voyage between geomorphology, structural geology, renewable energy, and the history of Vienna.

Open to all Union members. This tour is by registration only

EGU SCAVANGER HUNT @ NHM VIENNA

Come and join us to our second edition of the EGU themed scavenger hunt at the National History Museum of Vienna! The hunt will take place over 1h, you'll be divided in pairs and have the chance to visit for free the museum.
Meeting point: Entrance of the Natural History Museum. Place are limited (max 35 people), on first arrived-first served bases.

EGU PUBLIC LECTURE

Join the public lecture co-organized by EGU at the Austrian Academy of Science. Geochemist Michael KΓΌhn (past ERE Division President) will speak on the topic "Copied from Nature – Long-Term Safety: Carbon Dioxide and Highly Radioactive Waste in the Deep."

The hybrid lecture will be in German.
