EGU25 PROGRAMME IS NOW OUT!

The session programme for EGU25 is now officially out! Time to start preparing your posters and presentations, and to start outlining your personal schedule for the conference week. Want to host a pop-up networking event? The registration form will go online in one week!

WE ARE NOW ON BLUESKY!

Due to recent developments, EGU has officially left X (formerly Twitter). This means we will be reinforcing our social media presence on LinkedIn. And now, the Energy, Resources, and the Environment Division has officially launched its BlueSky profile!

OPEN CALL FOR ERE DIVISION POLICY OFFICER

Are you passionate about the science-policy interface? The Energy, Resources & Environment (ERE) Division of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) is looking for a voluntary Division Policy Officer!

  • Help promote evidence-based policymaking
  • Work with the EGU Science for Policy Working Group

ERE LAUNCHED DIVISION CAMPFIRES!

In the past few months, the ERE Division launched several successful campfires events. The topic ranged from geothermal energy, to microseimicity and CCS. All events were well attended and filled with interesting discussions.

ERE: PUBLISH IN ADVANCES IN GEOSCIENCES

Join the ERE special issue 2025 in Advances in Geosciences! If you submitted an abstract to an ERE session or a co organized one for the GA 2025, you are welcome to contribute with a publication.

Submissions are possible from 1 April until 15 June 2025.

EGU CELEBRATES DIVERSITY!

EGU has developed a number of initiatives to support the wider inclusion of those who have traditionally been under-represented in the geosciences, from fostering a community that welcomes diverse researchers to creating financial support opportunities that attempt to overcome systematic barriers to participation. As a bottom-up organisation, we also welcome new suggestions for ways we can support our community’s participation in science.
