We are currently living uncertain times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we hope that you and your relatives are healthy and safe.
As you may know by now, the physical EGU 2020 General Assembly was cancelled. To keep science in the front line, provide a discussion and sharing platform also at these times, it was replaced by the first interactive and digital EGU 2020: Sharing Geoscience Online event.
The Natural hazard Early career scientists Team (NhET) members are excited to participate in the event not only as attendees or display contributors but also as conveners of digital sessions and webinars. Most of the webinar streaming and live events will take place from the 4th to the 8th of May. However, displays of submitted abstracts may be already online and will be available for comments until the end of May 2020. We remind you that EGU 2020: Sharing Geoscience Online is open to everyone to attend, given that you register online beforehand for free.
As NhET, we are also organizing a Natural Hazard Division Early Career Scientists (ECS) Virtual Reception to allow networking among ECS. Networking is a special and important part of conferences, and we want to keep it as lively as possible also virtually. Details on the date, time and how to register will be available soon at this link.
