GeoQ #6
The June issue of the quarterly newsletter of the European Geosciences Union, dedicated to the EGU 2013 General Assembly, is now published online. The Articles section, for example, highlights research presented at this year’s conference. It includes features on seismic monitoring in geomorphology, on the stability of methane stored in oceans sediments, and on dust-emission measurements tailored to climate models, as well as an interview with Andrew MacDougall, a young climate scientist. Also not to miss are the letter from the Chair of the General Assembly Programme Committee, Gert-Jan Reichart, about this year’s meeting and two interviews with teachers who participated in GIFT, the Geosciences Information For Teachers Workshop, during the April meeting.
We are continuing the survey on GeoQ in this edition. If you have not yet answered it, please tell us who you are and what you like and dislike about this publication by completing our very short questionnaire – it won’t take more than a few minutes! Thank you in advance for helping us improve the EGU newsletter.
You can download the full newsletter as a single (interactive) PDF, or follow the Table of Contents links below for the PDFs of each individual section.
